Mobile banking is here to stay. At First Utah Bank, we’re huge fans of the convenience this technology offers our customers. We’re proud to offer two convenient mobile banking solutions; our Mobile Banking app handles banking transactions on the go and our Treasury Management Mobile app helps business owners keep the financial side of things running smoothly no matter where they are.
One of the biggest advantages of mobile banking is mobile check deposits. You no longer have to stop in to see us or visit an ATM every time you need to deposit a check. You can make a deposit anytime using the camera on your smartphone! The best part? If we receive and accept your deposit on a regular business day before 6:00 pm MST, the funds will hit your account that same day!
We want to make this process as straightforward as possible for you so there’s never a delay when it comes to getting you the money you need. That’s why we want to let all of our valued customers know about an important regulatory change that impacts our mobile deposit process for all customers. We are making this change to ensure a quick and safe deposit.
Effective immediately, all checks deposited through First Utah Bank’s Mobile Banking or Treasury Management Mobile apps require you to sign the reverse side of the check and include the following written statement “FOR MOBILE DEPOSIT ONLY AT FIRST UTAH BANK.”
If you already use internet and/or mobile banking, you already have access to make check deposits through the app. If you do not, download the app and complete the enrollment wizard for immediate access to the app and mobile check deposit. If you are a Treasury Management user, download the app and use the same credentials you use when accessing the Treasury Management Portal on a PC to access TM Mobile. Access to mobile deposit is always subject to approval.
